Serving Our Community

The NVHG isn't just about art and craft -- we also serve our Northern Virginia community in many ways.  For example, we

• provide 2 scholarships each year to deserving students of art and craft. Click here for information about the NVHG Scholarships.

• support several local non-profit groups with monthly donations of personal items -- often handmade -- to the people these groups serve.  At present, we are supporting
  • Meals on Wheels, a nutritional supplement program that provides meals and supplements to older adults living in our area.
  • Alternative House, a shelter for abused and homeless children and teens

• offer art and craft educational programs and supplies to adults and children throughout the area
