The Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to helping artists and craftspeople exhibit and sell their work, promote the development of art and craft in the community, and support art and craft educational activities.

Founded in 1972, the Guild sponsors juried art and craft shows open to the public, offers artists and craftspeople advice and counsel about virtually every aspect of creating art and craft and running a small business, provides networking and knowledge exchange opportunities with other artists and craftspeople, offers scholarships to emerging artists and craftpeople, and manages a variety of community service projects.

Thanksgiving Art and Craft Show

The Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild is opening its 2017 Thanksgiving Art and Craft Show to non-member participants. To participate, a non-Guild member must have his/her work juried by the Guild’s standards committee. We strongly recommend setting up a jurying appointment when you submit your application to ensure that there is ample time for the jurying process.
