The Northern Virginia Handcrafters Guild is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to helping artists and craftspeople exhibit and sell their work, promote the development of art and craft in the community, and support art and craft educational activities.
Founded in 1972, the Guild sponsors juried art and craft shows open to the public, offers artists and craftspeople advice and counsel about virtually every aspect of creating art and craft and running a small business, provides networking and knowledge exchange opportunities with other artists and craftspeople, offers scholarships to emerging artists and craftpeople, and manages a variety of community service projects.
We are pleased to announce the 2017 winners of the Guild’s two annual scholarships.
